About

As a freelance writer, a blogger, a mother, a community volunteer, I am passionate about words, ideas and the power of the individual to make changes in the world. In my so-called spare time, I take photographs, get artsy/crafty,  am developing a community garden in my village (as well as other projects that seek to create a sustainable lifestyle for us all), and grapple to stay abreast of my most exhilarating project ever – my young boy.

I’m currently studying a BA in Writing and Media at Southern Cross University. I have a background in retail management and hospitality, which gives me an edge when it comes to understanding how my words enable you to identify, meet and exceed the needs of your customer, client or consumer.

Being active in community service in the first few years of my son’s life has given me fresh opportunities to turn my skill with words to good use, as I’ve written flyers, brochures, posters, press releases, grant applications, correspondence and many, many pages of minutes!

My areas of special interest and expertise include (but are not limited to) parenting, photography, sustainability and green living, arts and crafts, wellbeing and self-improvement, training and motivation, and the Internet.
